Itsy Bitsy Spider {Closed}

?The itsy bitsy spider crawled up the water spout.
Down came the rain, and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun, and dried up all the rain,
and the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.?

Izari was going insane. How many times was that man going to sing that stupid song? Every damned day it was the same. The scientist would come into the room reading some file singing that song. Who came up with it? Whoever made it needed to be wrapped up in silk and ripped to shreds. It was stupid and annoying and repetitive and didn?t make any sense! Why was it so compelling to this creature to sing it every time he saw him? He wanted to curl up and scream. What was with the rain? The stupid water spout? What spider in their right mind would want to make a web in a water spout?

Izari ran his pale hands through his silver hair and tugged a little. He felt so naked and alone. He had no one to talk to at all and they had taken away all of his jewels. All of his pretty little rubies and diamonds? that beautiful little sapphire. Why had the man taken them away? They weren?t weapons. They even took his clothes and left him in this box with three glass walls and the one white wall where he?d made his nest on the ceiling. Clothes weren?t dangerous. Clothes were just there to keep away the chill. He was always so very cold.

The little spider crawled up into his nest and coiled up in the threads as he covered his ears, the human on the other side of the glass was taking notes on something he couldn?t even comprehend. He wanted to go home. He sighed and watched the blank ceiling. How was he going to get out of here? He had tried the walls, the glass, but nothing he did ever made them budge or open or break. He even threw all of his weight into the grass. The only thing he got out of that was a bruise.

The ducts in the room suddenly started to spray some vapor in the air. Izari didn?t even move. He knew what that was and fighting it never got him anywhere. He let the vapors lull him into sleep. When he woke next, he was in a tiny glass box. He couldn?t even stand up. His silvery blue eyes looked around the hall as he usually did, trying to find an escape route. Of course, he first needed to find a way out of the smaller box that was wheeling him through the halls. There were little holes where he could breath, but other than that, there was no opening.

Before they reached the stage, a curtain was placed over the box. This was new. Why were they covering him up? He hissed a little. The box was tapped as if he was some noisy beast. The longer he was covered, the more anxious he got. Where were they taking him? What were they going to do to him now? Hadn?t they done enough to him? They always poked and prodded him, pulling his silk, milking his venom, tracing the markings on his body, and other places he?d rather they not.

He heard voices then, murmuring in anticipation. He tensed up a little and clung to the little breathing holes. Izari was unveiled then. He wished they?d cover him back up. He had been placed in the middle of a huge table and there were strangers all around him, watching him, smiling at him in excitement, a lusting gleam in their eyes. He hated them all. He snarled and tried to claw at the glass once more. The people gasped and laughed in delight.

He wanted to bite every single last one of them and watch them die a slow painful death by poison. They would pay eventually for their treatment of him. He?d make sure of it. They had disgraced him; a lord in his own right.

Black Widows bit back.
